There are no specific requirements for building the PHP profiler. Note however, that although the XHProf profiler cross-platform code has been preserved with fidelity and code has been formatted for thread-safe operation, this extension has only been tested by its authors on a Linux, non-TS environment. We will be happy to know if you managed to use the PHP profiler on other platforms, as well as any problems you may have encountered.
